New Photos

Now it is not entirely my fault that you are just now getting these Christmas photos. Kristen just brought them to me...she is such a good photographer! I am proud of her.

Update

Every time I open my blog, (and yes, I KNOW that is not so often) I see the photo of my poor old Brockett. Guess I need to change that photo, because my new puppies are so full of life and bring us so much happiness.
I will go work on that.

I learned something new...

Did you know...
when you clean an ear of corn and you have all of those strings?
Well those silks are like little corn umbilical cords. Each silk
attaches to a cornel of corn. That is how each one develops
getting its life though the silk.
Isn't that cool?
I learned that from Walt.

Tom's first blooms 2010

Tom has been working like a madman outside. I thought he was crazy. He has been ripping up stuff that is growing well (he said it is growing too much) and has decided to put in flowers. These are his first blooms. They are happy, aren't they?

Looking at the Great Grandchilden

Today is Big Grandma's 89th birthday. Brice posted great photos of his crew on his facebook and thanks to my Iphone (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE) I was able to share the photos with Sylvia. Here she is seeing them. I don't know if she is more pleased with the kids or my iphone. I wonder?

Big Grandma

Wanted to post a photo of Sylvia so everyone could have a visual of how she is doing. Yesterday Dr Marks said she probably will stay in hospital though the weekend, however taking things day by day. They are treating the pneumonia and trying to figure out why she fell in the first place. Most likely will go to a rehab for a while.
I doubt she will be able to stay independently in her sweet little home again---but we all know how stubborn she can be....
Hope this helps to rest some worries.
